Wind was pumping steady at 20 mph when I arrived. Doug and Vern were out on 9M kites, so since I am heavier, I pumped up a 12. Billy showed up a little later and went out on a 9. The wind continued to pickup while I was on the water. Had to pull the depower strap in all the way. Definitely could have gone down to a 9, but there was no one on shore to grab my kite so I kept riding. I was glad for the huge depower on the Waroo. Nice day with excellent swell on the outside and flat on the inside.
