Monte Cristo 12/17 The wind gods were laughing

Arrived at Monte Cristo, turned left on the road heading north. It looked like we could drive out to kite, so we did. Ended up getting stuck in a snow drift. Took an hour + to dig the cruiser out. The winds that seemed decent when we arrived where now on and off. We set up kites and sat around for another 1/2 hour or so.

There is enough snow to kite and snowmobile, but lots of bushes and possibly some rocks. We really got screwed up here in norther U this last week. All the snow fell around the salt lake area. Powder mountain and here was mostly missed by the storm.
