Powder Mountain Wind Log Last 30 Days

Postby lesvierra » Wed Jan 10, 2007 11:16 pm

I logged this over the last 30 days, 12/13/06 - 1/13/07, from the point forcast at Powder Mountain for anyone who is interested. From what I've seen after a handfull of times up there, it has been close.

Positive wind speeds represent favorable directions, south, southwest, and west. Negative values represent less favorable, but rideable directions, Northwest, North and East. PM is not perfect, but not bad. Ok, no one make fun of how I spend my time.

Actually an East wind is fairly rideable. It is just a rare event.

Six wind days over 13mph from the East, 2 more 7 and 10 mph. And I know youve ridden north. Only a few days with winds less than 10.
