Lake Mohave

I left Jon M and his son Jeff at Katherine's Landing yesterday morning about 11AM after all 3 of us had a good 1.5 hour session. That is the northwind place at Mohave. The launch is called Cabinsites, Just north of Katherine's.

We all were on twin tips, 9M Waroo, 13M Instinct, 15M Fuel. Fun place to kite, a little rocky. Looks like it blew North again today, Friday. Jon.....how was it?

Earlier in the week I kited at 6 Mile beach Mon and Tues on my 9M Waroo. Just east of Searchlight, NV. Good camping and a nice sandy launch. Water temp 62. That place is really fun on a South wind. 7 hours from SLC. Definitely worth the trip.

Dave O is at Cabinsite for two weeks if anyone wants a local forecast. Its already 80+ so South winds prevail.
