4/14/07 Grantsville, 6.0, 85L

Very sweet. 3rd time in 6 days on the 85L board. Ripping speed runs on ripping south winds +25mph with gusts to high 20’s. Blasts on the east side of the lake were at times 4.5 to 5. Its nice to be on the Gorge gear. George measured the water temp at the start at 38 degrees. That incentive kept me from falling for the whole session. Still, it was warm enough for a wetsuit and no hood this time. The water and air were quite a bit warmer by the time we quit around 11:00. Jim got some more nice rides with a few holes after 11:00. I was expecting a big gear south later in the afternoon but it turned north and I bagged it.
