Sweet!

It happened. Got there around 5:00 PM to see a crew on the beach looking confused at the waterline and the timid wind... Josh made the sacrifice and rigged big... 8.0... That was fine for the first hours then it started picking up.. a lot... I went from completely underpowered to seriously overpowered on my 6.2. Sooo fun racing the pelican playing with the wind line close to the water. What a great evening!

As Mr Ponns stated, I started out on my 8.0 but after about 40 minutes it really started picking up. So I switched to my 5.2. (would have switched to 5.8 if I had it. Anyway sailed until it got dark. The wind just kept building the whole night. The swell was great. They always seem to set up so smooth and inline. Coming back to the shore was great, just turn after turn down a wave face. Even with MM19's high skunk ratio the swell keeps me having faith to head back. I just wish the front hit the lake at 8pm. Then we would have had 4 hours of the goods.

Oh yeah, forgot to add that since the water level is so high Utah lake is full of crap. Ha Ha! Well make sure you take a weed fin out there. My fin is the JP version of the lawn rake. I think I had a beaver dam stuck to my fin at one point.
