MANY THANKS TO RIZZLE for leaving around 10:30, for just as his truck faded into the dust the wind picked up and stayed up all day. I left at 4:30 and kites were still in the sky, it was slowly fading but plenty left to still put a smile on your face. Avg was around 15-25 out of SW,S, SE take your pick with the occasional RUSH GUSTS to 30 just to keep it interesting. Lots of kites out. Looks like more of the same tomorrow, and Sat

.SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE TO THE EAST OF UTAH AND A TROUGH ALONG
THE WEST COAST WILL KEEP A WARM AND MOSTLY DRY SOUTHWEST FLOW OVER

.DISCUSSION...SOUTHWEST FLOW HAS BECOME ESTABLISHED OVER THE
FORECAST AREA THIS MORNING BETWEEN THE UPPER RIDGE AXIS TO OUR EAST
AND THE UPPER TROF IN THE ERN PAC. ALTHO 700MB WINDS ARE FORECAST
TO ONLY BE IN THE 15-20KT RANGE...THE WARM AIRMASS IN PLACE WILL
ALLOW DEEP MIXING TO BRING ALL THIS WIND DOWN TO THE SURFACE THIS
AFTERNOON.

Anything to help out the fellas!!!!!! You should just bring a 6pac you know how I like tall cold beers at the mudd puddle.....I hope when I come out to day the wind stays....

I hope the wind stays but not the biting flies. Those guys are wicked. Ryan- Are you camping tonight? I would love to camp but not sure if the flies would make it miserable?
