WOW! Grantsville is chill! Grantsville will! Whatever I think it deserves something after yesterday... But once again it's a 6AM to 11AM lake!!!
Beautiful session yesterday... People on the water... Ken O, Jim H, Rick H, George W, John F, Emmanuel, Mike E, Josh, Ivan, Chris Romney, Travis (Huntington) and a friend, Fred, Sarah, Linda, a couple of other beginners whose names I'm not sure of... Then I've forgotten a couple I know...
So, the point is... Grantsville was unbelievable yesterday... I am extremely sore today... That hasn't happened in a while... I'm a moody sailor... I was in a hang on white knuckle mood... Comes with the "weather"... So, yesterday I decided I wanted to be on the OVERPOWERED side of the range... so kept the 6.2M sail rigged till about 9:30 or 10 in the morning... I lost track of time yesterday because of how fun it was... There were people hootin' and hollarin' like they do in Maui!
Jim you win the award! We were a bunch of monkeys out on the water... Great fun... Extremely satisfying session for me... For the first time ever, I had a blister on one of my hands rip all the way down to the foundation! Go figure!?!? Whatever the case, Grantsville is chill!
And actually the water is quite nice... In fact, John Freed, rescued an inner tube fisherman. Swam/Towed him all the way from about the middle of the lake to the dam! And was down in the water most of the time... Water is not bad at all!
