Another sweet morning. Went with a 5.5 and 117 liters. I was alittle over powered from 8:30 to 9:00. Then it was perfect 5.5 until 10:00. Carl was on a 7.2, what an animal. If he had a gps on, I think we have a new speed record. Friday/ Saturday maybe good, see you guys on the water.

Yeah, that was good. That's two sessions in a row on mid sized gear, Sunday and today. I could get used to this.

George W and Tom S made it a jibe fest regatta. The only casualty was the carbon front piece of my boom that complained once or twice and then exploded. Enough tattered shreds of fiber held out to body drag back on the opposite side back to the beach and rerig with a small aluminum Chinook extended beyond reason. That held for the rest of the session although you shouldn't look back and see the boom arm flex under stress. Still, gotta give props, it survived to let me complete a 2.5 hour sesh.

Evanston is looking good now, but that's Ken's trick, hitting both in one day; talk about animals. How does he do it?
