G-ville day 3, 5.7, 105l Sumo

Almost a repeat of Monday, but not as strong. Moderate 5.7, some 6.5 lulls around 9:00, while the wind tried to decide exactly which way it was going to blow. 9:30 it was oddly blowing more SE than S and the new flat water for hero jibes was over on the East side. Felt like I was sailing 90 degrees to where I started at 8:00! Settled down to more due South when I quit at 10:00.

It was nice not having to look before I jibed, since I was the only one there, but lonely not being able to hoot at the regulars. When a jibe gets ducked in the lake and there's no one around to see it, does it count? Where were Tom and The G-Boyz?

Also-sure is neat to be sailing my Hawaii gear since I won't be gettin' to Oahu this year. May we please get a few sets coming through? Wonder if there's a snocone shack in G-ville?

Helped kitesailor Salvador launch his 9.0. It was feeling a bit light, but he was rippin' it up when I drove away, with some nice airs to boot!
