MM19 Utah Lake--skunked

Postby tomsmart » Wed Sep 19, 2007 7:06 pm

How can it be blowing 40 at Grantsville and get skunked at MM19? Second of the year out of around 30 days.... Rick, Mike E., Josh, Emmanuel and one other. I got there first around 1pm to see the wind line coming up. I rigged the 7.5 and 6.2 in anticipation as it built slowing, but after mike showed it started to die and I slogged abit for show on the 7.5 but no really rides. We had a short, unofficial UWA clean-up session and brought home about 5 small bags of garbage. If we had big bags it would have been better, but it still made a difference. I had to leave around 4pm as the others waited for the big wind. I could see across the valley and good wind line around 5:30--hope you guys hit it. Looks like Grantsville held all day. I'm going there in the morning if anyone is in.--
