Rode out in Herriman today. Didn't have time for the drive to Skyline or Strawberry. Nice to get an hour or so of riding in without having more than a fifteen minute drive to get there. The field still has plenty of snow. I think even more than Rush did last week. If you stay in the southwest corner of the field you won't hit much stuff. I went too far east a few times and pulled up rocks. Definitely don't take out your Burton Custom X on that spot! Could have used a bit more wind, but again fun for a quick session.
Does anyone know an accurate windmeter for out there? The Herriman ones from Mesowest showed windspeed at like 4 or 5 mph which was completely wrong. The Bluffdale site is probably the best I know of minus about five mph.
