Strawbs 1/17 9M

Postby Marty Lowe » Fri Jan 18, 2008 8:40 am

It was 25-30mph when I pulled up to Chicken Creek at 1:30.
I love being powered up on 9M...
The snow was quite good, not powder, not hard pack.
Billy and I cruised to the other (south) side of the lake,
as did Rob and a few others.
Kevin, Eric and John did the early downwinder.
What a great place.
We are so lucky to have this in our back yard..
Hope for the same today.

Yea, it was WINDY, two days in a row for me at Strawbs, Did a big tour (10 M Manta II) of the Valley to the North at the river with Tom R and Bordy on Wed and then rode CC East in the AM Thurs (10 M Manta II) and the WINDY session (8 M Access) with everyone at CC West for the pm session. Great two days at Strawbs.
