Finally some wind at DC! My pocket wind meter showed 10-15 (it seemed like more) when I arrived at about 11:30. Wind direction was a bit more southerly than it usually is in the summer, and as always when the wind is out of the South at DC, it was quite gusty. The new snow was dense and a bit sticky (temp was about 34) but fairly easy to ski both on the beach and on the lake, where there was about 5" of snow covering rather mushy ice.

One other kiter (red foil) riding to the North of the Island.
