Arrived about 3PM one other kite out. Wind meter read 9 to 11mph from the North. Rigged my 14M Waroo. On my 2nd reach I rode for about a mile, from the Hill on the East all the way to US 40. Best coverage I've ever seen snowkiting there for 5 years. The snow was mostly smooth powder 2 to 5 inches deep with a few slick spots. I went all over the place, way east to the bowls and ridges and way south to the valleys and meadows, powered the whole time. The sun was out for awhile, no one else around, beautiful. Then the clouds covered the sun and the light got real flat with hardly any sage for definition, so I came in about 5PM. All in all a very fun session. Whit
