2/24 Strawberry, Like Kiting in a Dream

Postby whit » Mon Feb 25, 2008 3:20 pm

Sunday was a strange day. Too bad it was so warm. I saw the temps at PC were around 38F and Raining. I headed to Strawberry, because I knew it would be snowing there. Problem was, too light of wind. I did find some East Wind and set up my 14M. Snow showers, whiteout, couldn't tell if you were going up, going down , stopped or moving.......LIKE KITING IN A DREAM. Pretty fun, since it was light wind and not too dangerous. VERTIGO, I didn't last long. I saw some other kiters setting up at Chicken East about 11:45 as I was leaving. How was it? Whit
