3/2 Home Depot

Postby Ralph Morrison » Sun Mar 02, 2008 9:51 am

I drove by Home Depot and Richardson's because it was way too windy. I figured Strawberry might have less wind so I drove up there. It did have less wind, alot less wind, as in, no wind. I drove back to Richardson's and it was still very gusty. I figured I would at least give my 9m a try. As I was setting up I witnessed two scary episodes and decided to pass. I drove by Home Depot for the heck of it and it was much mellower there. Also the snow was perfectly smooth with three inches of cream of wheat corn on it. I've never experienced that before. Wow!

Ralph,

Good to see you at Richardson Flats. I couldn't believe how many people were there, about 10 cars at 12:30. It was quite gusty, especially for some of the beginners there, I heard about some gust slams later. I set up away from the mud and rode my 9M Waroo for over an hour. Pretty good riding, just a little sticky. The coverage is awesome up on the hills. The Black clouds and Cold front were approaching, so I quit around 2:15. How was that frontal passage down at Skyline? Was Chasta flying high? Whit
