fun chop hop riding . Never got cold. Sailed from 11-1:00 wind died with north switch.

Holy Crap! You never got cold because radioactive materials are warm!
Now, I've sailed the GSL, and when I finished, I paid the price... Crystals grew on my gear for a few months... I know a few people in recent years have sailed/kited the ponds, but I just can't imagine. Isn't it more salty than the lake?

Rick,
The salt ponds are much saltier than the GSL. I have had "shaggy" legs after 2 hours of riding, every hair on my leg was covered with a thick coating of salt. Nothing lives in the salt ponds - I have never even seen a bird land on the water.
