3/15 Skyline - 16.5 Contra; 11M Frenzy

Postby KyrkWright » Mon Mar 17, 2008 10:37 am

I finally got my first good rides (still figuring out the sport in my first year). The wind was 12-15 mph at Skyline and there was 6" of new powder. My friend and I arrived at about 8:45 and were rigged and flying around 9 ish. Flew the 16.5 Cabrina Contra for a bit before Brian and Heather offered to let us try the Frenzy. Way fun and love the ease of doing it yourself with the foil. Had a great time, and a huge thanks to Brian and Heather for the tips and the kite for a bit. I was able to ride back and forth on a 156cm K2 snowboard. The most fun I have had to date and I finally feel like I am getting the hang of this! Can't wait to go again!
