Reminded me of rush with the gusty dirty south winds but with clean water. Quite a few others made it (Josh, John, Jim, Ken O, George and maybe a few others). I was overly warm til I missed a jibe on the far side but it still was fine. Next time, I will use either different gloves or none as my forearms tire so much with the thick neoprene. Rush sounded good with the warmer water. I still remember during the glory days when Milo had a little retail shack at rush lake. I really like the new HPL boom head. Its easy, solid and doesn't slip. You can adapt it to the carbon boom and with some grinding to the aluminium boom. I think I really like grantsville for the morning south rides. Most of my set up was relatively new with a year old rdm, my carve 111, new boom (head) but my sail was about 14 years old. A Rushwind convertible and it was dialed just right. Funny how designs can change so much and yet some vintage gear performs great.
