Brian, Heather joined me.
We rode sleds out of Lake Creek, where it was blowing good.
They wanted to put some miles on the sleds before end of year,
in case they need work over summer.
We rode appx 70 mi, looking for spots,
but ended back where we started to kite.
Wind had backed off a little by 4:00,
but still enough for couple of hours of good rides on soft snow,
with a few windblown patches.
This is the place on high pressure building, first clear day after storm, wind.
Or as Craig calls it "Lowe effect"

It seems that within a half dozen tours, Marty has dialed in the best sled access snowkiting close to SLC. Each time we park closer, and find bigger areas and better wind options.
Of all the places I've been on a sled, 'Strawbs North' is the best sled accessed area, with a huge bowl full of features facing the prevailing north flow.

Here are some pics for reference. The area is immense and the views are literally over the top.

Brian

Brian,
Fun photos, they don't do justice to the terrain options.
Looks kinda flat, but lots of fun gully's, gaps and steep faces, to play on.
Maybe we can do it again soon.
