Yow Kenny!! I'm really glad you're OK. I'm sure that when you climb back on the horse that threw you, you will have a new respect for the sport, as we all will after this. Two things happened right, you landed on your side and you had three feet of cushion. I remember when the lady fell out of the gondola at Park City resort. She fell 60 feet but landed in deep snow, walked away without a scratch. Maybe the height of glides (or jumps) should be proportional to the depth of snow. Really glad you're ok Kenny!

Ralph, that is excellent advice!

I discovered what was wrong with my bar after e-mailing back and forth with the designer. The bar ends are supposed to be riveted in place. On my bar that step was omitted. It is clearly a manufacturing error as I checked another FS bar and sure enough there were the rivets. Clearly, FS has a QA problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.

Glad your Ok Kenny, blows when your gear is the reason you crash, I like to cause all my own crashes... hope your back out soon.
