arrived at the Island at 1:30 to find southwick rigging a 4.0 so I rigged 4.7 and 85L. Hugh holes close to the beach made it tricky geting out to the main channel but once you did it was sweet ripping. Nice to get in a double session in. one in Grantsville and one in Deer Creek

Satisfied

Very, Very VERY gusty, especially close to the beach. I'd like to have joined George out in the channel, but I couldn't begin to hold down my 4.0 in the gusts or waterstart in the lulls. George is without a doubt the reigning gustmaster of DC.

tried to sail but too gusty for me between 11 and 12:30... Measured 0 to 40 mph off the deck.
