From the traffic cam I saw in the morning, it appeared that there might be enough coverage on some areas in Strawberry River. I arrived at 12 p.m. to find around 10 knots wind. The south side of the field (towards to usual riding location) is still pretty iffy. I think we need at least another foot of snow to make it safe to kite. I managed to cut down a lot of sage brushes.

There is an area that is just north of the parking lot that is mostly grass and the coverage was enough for a almost sage brush free ride. I managed to have an hour or so of riding. Chris, Andy, Tylor and John showed up while I was ready to call it a day. They decided to check the condition in CC. Not sure if the condition there is any better. If there is more snow tonight in Strawberry River, I think the field is ride-able tomorrow.

Let's all do some snow dance and hope the system will bring more goodies next weekend. :-P
