Arrived at Gville around 8:30 to see John Freed and Dave O getting a few rides on 6.5 and 7.0. Grant Jr. and I rigged 7.0 and 7.5 and got a few rides but it petered out and went west at 10:15. John had left earlier as a sacrifice to the wind gods but this attempt to goose the wind higher did not pan out and the windlines continued to get further apart. By 10:30 it went totally west and it was over. The wind meter readings for the time we were there were higher than what was happing on the water... Very weird!!!
