Craig called it pretty well, except that we had some incipient cloudbursts coming through, which dropped the wind to about 15 mph or so. John and Trevor D were there, with Trevor showing off that he can still plane just fine on his 7.5, and yes, he can also plane through his jibes and even miss a jibe, fall in, but not somehow get his hair wet. (them youngsters showin' off alla time!)

Mike E. was there doing some of his inscrutable cool moves till he had to leave. But that was good timing, Mike, just before the wind got weird. We had some up and down after 9:00, mostly down, along with some woolly wind shifts. I only got one screaming reach, up the lake to the south end, but enjoyed the hell out of it while it lasted. Like Craig sez: both feet in the straps, I'm countin' it!

Finished at 10:30 to solid westerlies blowing hard out off of the Stansburys and making derigging a dusty affair. Fun to be out, though, no question.
