First day out for me... I joined Ken at Grants, and we waited and waited and waited and almost left... but at about 11:30 it finally came in. As soon as I hit the water on a 6.5 I was lit. Ken sailed the first session on a 7.0, then rigged down to a 6.0, I went down to a 85 liter board. Pretty good until about 1:00, then it started to do the up and down afternoon thing that is so Grants. Water level great... getting closer to the fence! With the air temps at 65-70 and some sunshine, wasn't too bad as I tested the water temp numerous times. Ken is probably still out there (he's in mid-season form!)... I left at about 2:00... Here's hoping for a great spring!
