Wild and woolly westerly PM at Sulfer. Duane on the water with 6.5 and 115 Tabou. Him: "7.5 going out, 5.5 coming in!". Me: "Sounds like you rigged perfectly."
From 3:30 on, it was 6.1 and windier. Finally switched to the 95 and weathered it with the 5.7. Up and down, but a lot of up. Got handily picked up and slammed at one point. Pretty funny, but I was glad I unhooked when I saw the weirdness coming on the water. Did that twice, in fact.
Still blowing when we pulled out at 7:00. But it had shifted to strong NW around 6:00 or so.
Note: Lots of rocks and shallow areas around the dock and also on the other side (east) of the boat ramp. Be cautious going out or coming in. Water warm!
