Despite favorable readings from Arrowhead and the Dam Chute, the wind at IB was feeble, weaker even than at the WeatherTalker site. SBB proved to have just enough wind to yield planing rides, but only on Formula gear. The moral of the story: in the absence of a weather site or web cam at SBB, really the only way to know what's happening there is to drive down and take a look, even if you live at the other end of DC and can see the lake out your window!
