Skyline Jan 20-21 high wind snowkiting

Hell Yeah, the wind we've been waiting for took over Skyline this weekend, while Saturday was strong and shifty, Sunday was even more of that wind hammer of love!

Sat Night saw a few inches of fresh, blown around of course.
I have never seen North winds so strong as Sunday, everyone ripped all over the place shredding 5 foot deep powder turns under the looming cornices.
Started on 12's, because we could hold them down in those winds. Then went to 10's, then to 8's and some guys were even powered on 4 meter Access kites.
Powered riding powered carving, one wasted tired ass Brian after two days straight...sooo good when its hectic!
More and more folks from out of town...and more and more OZ's in the Sky at the line. See you up there,

Strawberry was light but was enough for me and the 15m Instinct. Excellent snow conditions. Whit said the best yet. Found a pair of skins if someone wants to claim them. Good to see Dee Wallace (Wasatch backcountry legend and Punta Abreojos resident) out shredding his splitboard.
