Wind was very gusty when I arrived at 4. 3 other kiters - Marty, Christian, and Stokes. Rigged the 16M. I could stay upwind, but it was boring. Rigged the SA. Kicked my butt at first, but the wind settled down a bit and became much more steady. Everyone left around 6. I rode until the sun went down at 7:45. The last hour and a half was sweet. I was perfectly powered on the SA. Rode down to the flat water area.

Drove out just as Kenny drove in. Started about 1;00 rode fully powered to getting lifted on 13M instinct. If I'd depowered, no lift, but fun to hang on in gusts to 30 (by my meter on beach). Up and down but no kite falling from the sky. Misfit 146 was the ride, great in holes good edge in full on. Great combo when paired with the gust eating Instinct. The bows and SLE's are just what we need for Rush.
