I'm not sure if that's the accepted spelling for shlogg... It seems to be different every time I spell it.

Belated post out of curiosity...

We had a few good shlogg and go rides up at Deer Crick Island Park on saturday. But nothing that kept its shape for longer than a reach... We were very hesitant to go out past the Island for very long... So a few fun planars and some good company...

I find it interesting that when it seemed to be so windy on saturday almost everywhere... Nobody really got that much to write home about... I mean Sundance was screaming 30-45mph, Grantsville seemed to have some good wind but still no great reports...

So, it seems like when the wind is like it was saturday at Grant's it's that way everywhere, especially on Swap Meet Saturday!!!??? I don't recall having a good sail on Swap Meet day...

A belated reply:

Interested to read about your experience at the Island on Saturday. I was at Charleston, along with John D., Sarah & Linda, Nicole, & Rob. We were all struggling with and complaining about the "schlogg n go n schlogg" conditions and wondering whether the wind was steadier at the Island. Doesn't sound like it!
