THE RUSH MUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10m Bulllllaroo 8am!

Arrived for the Dawn Patrol. The water is about 10 inches or less, but the crashes are actually softer! Mush absorbes. Believe me or not, but I have tested both thuroughly, most of you know I have ;)

Steve (the master), Hedquist, Will, (Kenny for about 10 minutes) and a couple others. Smooth SE all morning 10m Bullaroo was soooooo much fun. The biggest air most of us had ever had, sweetness!

Rode the 13m Ozone Instinct from Cloud 9 before it really turned on, and I have to say that for the person that does NOT want the quicker kite, but sturdy, slower, great hangtime, and has a lot of money, it's a nice kite!

Makes sense that a 13 M turns slower than a 10 M, Duh, Maybe compare apples to apples. Also usually you get what you pay for,IMHO

I had, sold it two days ago, 2007 13m Best Waroo. The Instinct is very sluggish, I have flown the 13m Best kite enough this year, I didn't need to go back to back. On the instinct I had my hands to the outside of the bar, and had to bury the bar right or left to turn. Like I said before, some may like the slower kite to keep them out of trouble a bit.

On the positive side.... it floated better than the Waroo, was very solid and stable (which may be why it's slower as well), the landings were super soft without a ton of action from the kite. The Waroo has more pop, but you kinda fall out of it after the intial height, which may be why the Waroo would be better for more wake style tricks. The Instinct may be a better gliding kite for these reasons also.

I wasn't comparing it to Bularoo, Jonny I was just giving my observation from someone that has been on a lot of Best kites. It's cute that you are so defensive of your Instinct though. I have watched you get all over anyone who has posted against the Instinct since their inception. So atleast your consistent. You should rep them, sell them, oh wait.......!

I still luv ya, and I will land your kite anytime!

You're right, I love my Instincts. Probably heavier than the Wahoo but maybe better built. How do they turn compared to the Bullaroo, as I think it's of a similar, more durable construction? This would be a better compairson. Also, I'm a closet BEST BASHER, not so much the kites, which are a good buy for the money. (in fact I suggested that Jared, Jeff's friend, buy your 13M). I sold them last year but had nothing but problems with them at the company level, such that I dropped my affliation with them and will never sell them again. I'm glad that Steve carries the line and will suggest that if people want to go best that they see him. He's got a great shop and we all need to support him. CLOUD 9 has just about everything that you'll need for kiting, in stock and at a great price!
Thanks for offering to still catch my kites, after hours of pulling on the bar to get the damn Instinct to turn, I'm really worn out.

Kites???

Postby bordy » Wed Jun 06, 2007 2:50 pm

My favorite Kites are the ones that have a bar and lines and fly in the sky...

I also like the kites that have colors on them/ cuz I think that makes them pretty.....

PS I only launch kites I'm afraid of them when they land cuz i might catch something and I hate being sick...

Ps I sure wish there was wind so I could go kiting with the pretty kites that fly.
