Rode the flats for a few hours. Wind got real steady as I was about to leave, but was great most of the time I was out. Perfect wind speeds. I finally made it to the water, or as close as I wanted to get. I got some great speed runs in, sketchy with the sandy spots that appear out of no where. You have to keep your body in the right position to keep from going head over heels. Would be nice to get some rain to even everything out and harden up the surface. I tried to get some video while riding, not as easy as it looks.
While heading back, saw a big white kite flying the evaporation ponds. Kenny was kicking up a huge mud trail while chasing some birds, or were they chasing him? I'll try to post some video of that. I would have joined you, had it not been for lack of time.
A fun day, but would still like to be out at Lincoln. I had a few bad landings and I can't get myself to do much while in the air over land.
