With Utah pretty much emptied of Windriders it was amazing to see
virtually the entire population in the Gorge.
Caught up with Ken, John, Patrick, Arron, Chippr, Mark, sailed/partied with mine own tribe, Stuart, Darren, Jim, Gunars, Melinda, Sarah, Linda, Sharon,
Tom, Fred, Lana, George, totally missed Big Wave Dave, maybe because
of his new instadad status (we missed you buddy) and Rick H. (didja make the blowout?), partied with the
darksiders, Marty, Doug, Vern, Jon M. Jacob B, and a host of about
15 others.

You can tell it was festive and windy enough for 8 straight days
spread out all over the Gorge. The Rock Star and I even went
to our native past for some sweet Avery rides one evening,
rigging and riding 10 feet from our parked vehicles.

Most of the Tribe is still up there, if you're headed up, take a ride for me,
and say hi.

There were a few maytag days....just epic. Next year we'll have to rent a Utah group area at memaloose or something.

Craig,

As you may have heard by now... My heart has been broken this year by a 9 stitch gash on my pointer finger from a filet knife up in Alaska on July 22nd... Doc said no sailing for 10 days or I'd rip the stitches open... But I gotta be in SL on the 7th... I'm lucky to still have 10 fingers!

But it did allow me to go to my 20 year high school reunion!?!?!?@(*#&!( Or rather took away my excuse not to go! Fred called me asking why I was so late for the Blow Out and that they had come to cheer me on at the start! Thx Fred! I was on a damn hike up to sunset peak with some old high school friends...

I sure feel like I'm missing out, but vicariously enjoy hearing about it! I'll make it up for the late August sesh!
