Pulled up at Middle Inlet shortly after 1pm. Forgot my helmet drove back home, from about 1-2pm strong off and on wind from the south. Kited about 45mins from 2-3pm after the winds switch from the west. Wind was off and on, but mostly on, sometimes a little much for my 16m. Dropped the kite once in a lull, pulled off the water a couple of times completely depowered. Was able to stay up wind with jumps and lulls. Had to come in and be a responsible parent as the youngest was crying.

Winds were more consistent and strong from 3-4 from the west. Id say winds were anywhere from 5-20+ today. Onshore gear was covered with sand from wind. Is it fall yet?

Sorry that I was a no show. Chores got in the way. It sounds like I didn't miss any great winds. I am ready for some fall winds also.

ya, auggie no great winds 8/12. Hung out, lots of up and down south wind. Never swithed from the West. Huge beach. Watched a big boat pulling a wake surfer get beached on a sand bar, funny, no one got hurt.
