Craig nailed the forecast again. Wind looked weak in SLC, but I figured I have a big kite/big board so I will go for it. Turned out to be much stronger wind than I anticipated. Billy was there teaching a lesson. I went out on my 15M and the wind continued to build. Rode for a while and Jake showed up. By then the water was whitecapping and Jake went out on a 13M Bularoo. We both had ample power to jump. We rode for about an hour until I was so overpowered that I had to head in. Jake loaned me his kite for a few reaches and then loaned it to Billy. It was a beautiful evening with thunderstorms to the north.
