When I arrived there wasn't a soul on the lake. It was kinda cold and there were some big dark clouds and I was kinda shrinking in the manly area. Fortunatly Tim Snyder showed up and we decided, I'll go out if you go out. A hole in the clouds formed above the lake as I launched and the wind was steady 7.0 for about 45 minutes. The next half hour was manageable overpowered but it notched up again so I went in and rigged a 5.0. Half of the next session was nice 5.0 and the 2nd half was overpowered again. The 5.0 was the smallest sail that I brought and I was pretty spent and Tim was the same so we drank a beer and watched perfect 4.0 wind. It was still blowing 4.0 as I drove away.
