arrived at 11:30 to see dcjim on a 5.3 moving down to a 4.5. the meter on the beach is showing 16 to 32 , I go for a 4.7 but forgot the 400 mast so I pack it up to make a return trip to the house for more gear. smaller board and sail and mast. re-arrive at the beach at 12:40 and rig 5.2 and 85L board. How nice to be back on the water after a 3 week recovery from my surgery. nice to be on small stuff, need to get ready for hawaii in nov. and sailing with the daughter.

kited from 4 - 5;30 ish. 13 m nicely powered to underpowered to just right. nice evening.wind blew real hard at 5;30 then went east for 10 sec, dropped kite out of sky then walked, hmm. keeper
