Got there just in time for a good powered session. Vern was already done and a new kiter named John was out riding his 9m crossbow. Ryan showed and rode his 13m Sport then tried the 13m Edge. I think the 13m Edge will replace my 06 15m Instinct for light wind. It provides so much lift that it has the power of a 15m or 16m moderate aspect kite. Two sailors were also out. Carl and Karli showed, however it was pretty much over by the time Carl hit the water and had glassed off. Sounds like we kited just about every south wind spot yesterday. Looking forward to South Padre Island in a couple weeks.

Nice launch for Kaerli to learn beach starts and get confident about sailing. She keeps saying she wants to go faster. The wind was smooth but waning. It's definitely not the raging DC poltergust kind of push, also a good thing. The Willard weather station looks like it was good for a few hours at least but we were late out of the gate. Although it sometimes goes all day there it seems like it is more likely to be a mid day event on the whole. Very pleasant afternoon though, (this is October?), and that is some plush rigging on grass.

Fun afternoon out there again. Nice to meet some more kiters and windsurfers. To bad it shut off around 4.
Jason - You might run into some MN kiters while down in SPI. Fun bunch to hang out with.
