We made a quick weekend of it. Rode 5.2 on friday/4.7 on Saturday/6.0 on Sunday/ and 6.7 on Monday... About like the stock market.

J. Shirley and I met a windsurfing addict that reminded us of the dangers of windsport. He had pretty recently been queried by his fiance as to what his choice would be between windsurfing and her... Needless to say, he is still windsurfing... But she did give him the ring back at around 40mph. Jarek, pronounced Yardek, originally from Poland has been seriously sailing for around 9 months and is hitting most of his Jibes very well... He is so addicted...

Good sailing, good company, and great landscape... We can't forget to mention 85 degree weather... And these scuba divers that were at Katerine's said that the water temp was 66 at the surface and at 75 feet was still 64!!! That's crazy being that at Bear Lake when I was there this summer scuba diving, was 71 at the surface (midsummer mind you) but 47 degrees down at 83 feet! So the water at Mohave was nice.

We didn't make it over to the entrenched people at 6 Mile Cove because of the briefness of the trip but Gunars was reporting to me north wind about a half to 1 meter bigger sail size.

We've got Jarek on the task of finding out how good 9 Mile Cove could be on a good north, being that it's at the south end of the wide part of Mohave... Could make for some big swell.

Rick, I~ll be there for Thanksgiving. Camping opposite 6-mile. Sounds great.
