water 62, air about 66. 3.0 on Friday, probably same on Sat. 4.0 on Wed, 5.5 on Thursday am, then 8.0 till dark.

A decent crowd at Cabinsite, Gorge guys making the annual trek. Paul Bradshaw's brother can rip, even sent his wife out on a 3.7.

Donny of Las Vegas, the massage guy/webmaster weather kiter lost an 800$ board, was last seen driving the other side walking the canyons to find it. He slept in an abandoned mine the night before.

The Rangers decided we can unload but only park above the bathrooms. The did surprise attacks to move us, and caught a ration of s##t from the more experienced sailors. 100 divers were there recently, someone got hurt and the EMT's didn't like moving cars so Dick Cheney's Goon Squad is instructed to run off Junior Rangers like Calif Richard, who's been sailing there for 15 years...These aren't the Deer Creek Rangers that can swoon with one correctly timed chicken sandwich. These guys were packing shotguns, tazers, handguns and steel toed boots.

Great Internet access in the Laughlin Library, zip anywhere else unless you have a Verizon card, then you can net up in the campground. The Sun-Thurs 18.00 room nights tack on $9.95 a day for Wayport net access.

Crazy North wind on Friday, not a cloud and still relentless. Tried to camp at SandHollow Res Fri night and the blowing sand across the road was scary, a red out. Quail Creek was a good option, welcome to 25 degree nights and 40 knot winds all night..
