Jeff and I made the sacrifice for you all. (left wind to find wind) Drove by PC at about 11:00 it wasa blowing, white out. Saw Billy packing up a smallish kite. Made the trip to Monte Crisco. Saw Augie for a minute or two, till he went over a ridge. Looks like they need 2' more snow (probably got it by now) and that day, more wind. PC white out, MC 8-10, go figure. We hung around for a few minutes, it started to rain and fog in, so we left. Drove back to PC, just in time to see another white out. Billy was STILL there, he may get the DCJIM Ironman award for snowkiting, but to think about it he probably spent most of his time 'pumping up kites', ahhhh the joys of 'throw and go'. Jeff had to get to work and I had to, well, er a, whimp out, so we just went home. Talked with Todd, sounds like we didn't miss much.
Monte, looks like a great place to kite. Can't wait for the right conditions.
