12/27 Strawberry - Chicken Creek East

I took my daughter out this AM for a very cold, but fun session on the ice. Wind was rocking around 15 - 20 mph. My daughter had plenty of power on a SS B-3. I rode an 8M foil. Rode for a couple hours under bluebird skies. Saw two snow halos, one at chicken creek and a giant one at Daniel Summit Lodge.

Coverage is still a little sparse in spots (you can auger-in on the sage brush), but it is getting there. Ice coverage in only 1/2 inch of snow over the ice. We need a warm day to bond the snow to the ice, right now it just blows off.
