Grantsville 5.7 screaming rides but sw gusty. MM19 big swell big ramps fun riding. Sailed with Melinda, Mike, Erik, Josh.
4/20 Looked for big north wind at south sandy beach with Erik and Gary. We sailed, but wind never filled in .To much west, I think.

Saturday was a great day. Windy, warm air, cold water then slightly warmer water.
I went to grantsville in the morning because I wanted to make sure I got some rides. Southwind days can sometimes disappoint so I needed a garuantee. I rigged a 5.8 and sailed for a few hours. The wind had a lot of west which made for longer reaches but also made it gusty. As soon as George Ward got into the water the wind switched to the south and it nuked. I wanted to see him tail walk across the lake on a 6.0 in 3.5 conditions then I had to get out of the way of his almost airborne rig for my safety.

I told Mike I would meet him down at MM19 for an afternoon thrashing. I arrived there around 2:30pm. When I turned off the highway I could see a windsurfer hit a ramp and go about 15 feet up (turned out to be Jim.) I rigged my smallest sail 4.7 and made a few exhausting attempts. The ramps were huge. After some rigging adjustments I had my fun. I need a small board!!!!!! This is my year to find something around 80 liters.
Great day. I slept well Saturday night.
Whatever thou art, do well thy part.
