The snowkiting season at Strawbs ain't dead yet, not at least at Strawberry River. A bit of vegetation is beginning to appear on South facing slopes, but mostly it's still a sea of white. This morning the snow was quite firm and bumpy, but not nearly as bulletproof as it was a couple of weeks ago. No sledheads. As I arrived at about 8:45, the most skillful gliders I've yet seen at Strawberry were coming in for a landing:
