Rush Lake 5/4 16M Waroo Sky Pro

Postby MikE mAy » Mon May 05, 2008 7:38 am

Had an ok sesh at rush last night. bill and i arrived to no wind. sal came too and joined in teh wait. it was pushing out at the salt lake so we knew something was bound to happen. well, about 1.5 beers into the wait something came up. bill went out on his wakeskate and went straight downwind but held his ground in the shallows. after it grew a bit, i decided to give it a shot. it was up and down and finally filled in for about 45 minutes where we were about mid powered on the 16 and my sky pro. learned ralies and my back is wishing i hadn't today. Bob came out on his 13, but it was just strong enough to sucker him into trying it. bill and salvador were boht throwing down impressive jumps. the water is receeding and i couldn't find a spot deeper than my knees. so, be careful out there and let's all pray that it comes up a bit, but with this early of a receeding trend i doubt we will see much...

Had a good time,

I went in the water at 530 and didn't get out intill 730ish so with the exception of the rush "stand and wait" for about 5-10 minutes here or there. Then what I thought was a great little session for about a hour and a half, I spent most of the session trying unhooked stuff and can barley lift my arms today..... Maybe again tonight? light but fun.

Mike and I both in 3-2 suits Sal in his shorty. Bob had the super semi dry suit on. He made it happen on his 20m yarga intill he lost his chicken loop and was forced to go to his 13m SLE kite. Then down wind he went.

A good time by all!
