I thought Jim would log this one. I got there at 7:00, it was cold 44 degrees and rainy. I went to work and came back in the afternoon. 4 of us shared some very nice winds that stayed in the 5.5 to 6.0 range for 4 hours. I got to try out my new Ezzy Freeride 5.5 for the 1st time and had a good time. It was more up and down than usual and from the Provo Muni readings it looks like we were just sailing the gusts. Definitely overpowered 20% of the time. There must have been a wind direction shift as the swell sucked. It wasn’t nearly as cold as I thought but I definitely wasn’t wearing the short sleeve wetsuit I used Wednesday. Except for an ill fated attempt at 1 last run where I almost swam back it was a great afternoon. I was sure glad I grabbed the 115L for that last run.
