Drove through Skyline on the way to Price for work. Spent 3 hours kiting on soft and suprisingly not too slushy snow from 4:30 to 7:30. The first hour I could barely keep a 12m Frenzy in the air. Then it picked up and I switched to a 13m Waroo and had a blast on the ridges. I taught a coworker traveling with me how to body drag (body dragging is a teaching method on snow isn't it?) with the 12m Frenzy.

Looked like he was having fun anyway. Sure is nice to be on the pristine white stuff after several muddy days at Rush. After I'm done in Price I'll be passing through Skyline on the way back this evening.

Yes, these photos were taken on May 27th... the holiday weekend put several inches of freshies down giving the place a mid winter look. And in general the snow is still a couple feet thick with deep drifts. The morning cold powder warmed up to a fun spring powder thru the day.

Excitement, adventure... a Snowkite Jedi craves not these things.
