After getting a call from Fred G, I headed for DC to meet up and hang on the beach, and hopefully sail. I had better than usual timing for rides at DC. Jim S was almost rigged when I got there, so I followed his lead, and got on the water ASAP. Turned out pretty good for more than an hour. Boat chop was a bit hecktic at times, but the wind stayed on most of the time. Then a big dark cloud came over, and the wind was gone. Rigs came off very quickly, and derigged quickly, with thoughts of the day before, and the gusts that came through. Nothing like that happened, in fact, it went glassy, then came in very light from the north. time to head for home with a smile.
